It is terrific. Thanks Bill! The "new" pictures of sandi and Jim are much nicer than the earlier ones. My husband, David, was GRP of PA 1998-99, and I was Grand Historian. We traveled far and wide, and will continue to do so. Some of the nicest people in the Fraternal Orders are found in Amaranth. In the past I have been both a RP and a RM in Harmony Court, and was installed as RM again at the end of March. The grandparents of Kira Armacost, whose message is located within this webpage, are members of our Court. She gave this very interesting and inspiring speech at Grand Court of PA, at the Informal Opening on April 11. Very happy to know that your Order is charitable to the ADA. Both my parents (deceased) had diabetes among other medical limitations and it is wonderful to know that the Order of the Amaranth is dedicated to this research. I am A.M. at Peace Court. My husband Ted and I joined the Amaranth after my mother was diagnosed with diabetes in August of 1998. My fathwe passed away due to cancer that December. The court was so great about helping thru that. Then this past Feb,my mom passed away due to complications from diabetes,21 day's later,Iwas taken to the hospital and myself diagnosed with diabetes,I had a sugar leval of 900. I do not remember the first 4 days of the ICU. I am now on insulin,but thankfull to be alive. I can now see BETTER,all the things Amaranth can do for diabetes. She will be here from 5 July until 2 August and is wanting to attend a court during her visit. We are in NJ near Delaware Water Gap on I80. She has corresponded with a Mrs Jane Jacobi in Indiana PA for years but I have not been able to contact her. Can anyone advise or assist. My mother is 78. Thank you in anticipation.
