Some general information about how the supreme line works and how the officers move up

Supreme Royal Matron

Emily Moyer (Pennsylvania)

Over Emily’s 40 plus years of membership, she has served as Grand Royal Matron of Pennsylvania,
Supreme Marshal, Secretary of the Board of Supreme Trustees, President of the Amaranth Diabetes
Foundation Board of Directors and Supreme Treasurer.

As Grand Royal Matron, Emily led Pennsylvania to raise over $100,000 for the Amaranth Diabetes
Foundation. Emily has been actively involved in the formation of the Supreme Council’s strategic plan,
vision committee membership surveys, and online diabetes donations.

Professionally, Emily retired as a Senior Manager for Global Credit from The Hershey Company, where
she was employed for 36 years. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and
Management from Lebanon Valley College and a Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania
State University.

Emily was married to the late S.K. Allen D. Moyer for 36 year and isso proud of her two daughters,
Elizabeth, who resides in Maine, and Virginia, who resides in Italy, and Elizabeth’s boyfriend, Johnnie and
Virginia’s wife, Grace. Both of Emily’s parents, Sara Ann Seibert and George Seibert, served Supreme
Council as SRM and SRP.

Emily is a Past Grand Worthy Advisor of Pennsylvania and served as Acting Supreme Worthy Advisor for
the International Order of Rainbow for Girls.

Committed to empowering people, creating an environment of inclusion and representing all members
with dignity and respect, Emily looks forward to a year filled with energy, excitement and enthusiasm as
we continue to provide research grant funds for the American Diabetes Association and foster an
atmosphere of socialization, fellowship, love and support for our members.

supreme Royal Patron

Ernesto Sayo (California)

Ernie joined Masonry in 1998. It is in Masonry that he found more solace, having to get involved with a
strong bond of fraternal brotherhood while serving the Community. In 1999, Ernie joined the Order of
the Amaranth and became the Grand Royal Patron of California Grand Court in 2015. He served as
Supreme Prelate during the term of HL Judy Mosier and SK Jerry Pinion in 2017 -2018.

Ernie also served as a Parent Advisor and Rainbow Dad for the Rainbow for Girls, Concord Assembly in
2003 – 2007. Ernie has been involved with various volunteer work through Pittsburg Chamber of
Commerce during Pittsburg Seafood Festivals and other projects. He volunteered with Habitat for
Humanity and Christmas in April. He participated in the annual Step-Out Walk for Diabetes for several
years.

Ernie received the Hiram Award in Masonry in 2017 for services above and beyond. In 2015, he and his
GRM, Janet, started the Beverly Gay Duba Award to recognize outstanding Amaranth Members who did
service for theOrder and the Community, a recognition like the Hiram Award, which he also received in
2022, from The Grand Court of California, per recommendation of Black Diamond Court.

Professionally, Ernie graduated with a degree of Doctor of Medicine, from Southwestern University and
served for one year as the only Doctor in one of the rural areas of Cebu. He then left for the United
States where he built his family. His main goal and where he finds happiness is when he can be of
service to others.

Supreme Associate Matron

Hollie Dahm Stivers (Oregon)

H.L. Hollie has loved the Order of the Amaranth since she became a member at the age of 18 in
November 1979. She was proud to serve as Grand Royal Matron of Oregon 1992-1993. She has been
blessed to serve Supreme Council include Deputy Supreme Royal Matron, Supreme Standard Bearer,
Supreme Commissioner of Appeal for three years. Most recently Supreme Associate Conductress and
Supreme Conductress.

Hollie has a wonderful husband of almost 25 years. They have one son, daughter-in-law, two beautiful
granddaughters, and two fluffy kids – Grace and Murphy Brown.

Many of Hollie’s favorite memories have included her travels and interactions with the members of this
beautiful Organization. Here is to many more years of service to the Order of Amaranth.

Supreme Associate Patron

Richard Whidden (Virginia)

Richard joined Amaranth at Potomac Court #4 in Arlington, Virginia in 2011 and was initiated with his
wife, Sherry and daughter, Kathryn. He served as Royal Patron for Potomac Court #4 in Arlington Virginia
including terms where his wife and daughter served as Royal Matrons for the Court. He served as Grand
Royal Patron of Virginia in 2020-2022 with his wife as Grand Royal Matron.

Richard is an attorney and recently retired from Federal Government Contracting where he last served
as a Director of a mid-sized government contractor. He has two sons, Alex who was recently raised as a
Master Mason and Phillip who is a Senior DeMolay.

He served as Worshipful Master of Palatka Lodge #34, in the Grand Lodge of Florida, F&AM. He is also a
member of Arlington Centennial – Glebe Lodge #182, AF&AM in Arlington, VA.

Richard is a Senior DeMolay and served as Chapter Advisor for a DeMolay chapter, Associate Guardian
of a Job’s Daughters Bethel and Chairman of the Advisory Board for a Rainbow Assembly. He holds
DeMolay’s Chevalier Degree and Legion of Honor and Rainbow’s Grand Cross of Color.

Supreme Conductress

Claudia Wilms (New Jersey)

H.L. Claudia is a member of New Jersey and New York Amaranth courts having served as Royal Matron
for three years, Grand Royal Matron 2010 & 2016, served Supreme Charity, Supreme Wisdom, and
Supreme Commissioner of Appeal. Claudia has been married for 57 years and has three sons. She
worked as a payroll officer at McDonalds for 30 years. is an NREMT and served as the County Assistant
Secretary for the County Chiefs Assoc in DE. Claudia is a Past Queen of Daughters of the Nile 1989 &
Hobbies are crafts and making baskets for auctions.

Supreme Associate Conductress

Cheryl Kuritz (Indiana)

HL Cheryl joined Terre Haute Court in 1977 standing beside her mother and her sister Linda. She served as Grand Royal Matron of Indiana in 1998-99. Her Masonic heritage is approximately five generations. She is a majority member of Linton assembly IORG.

Cheryl is active in many ladies organizations having served as a Worthy Matron, Queen of Koran Temple Daughters of the Nile and Worthy High Priestess of The White Shrine.

Now retired, she spent over 40 years as an industrial hygiene and safety specialist and consultant.

Cheryl and her wonderful husband Tony have been married for over 33 years and reside in Indianapolis along with her opinionated cat, Bessie. Her relaxation and enjoyment is her music and spending time with her family and friends. She is a church pianist and sings in the choir.
